Environmental testing of rail vehicles
We have a wide range of environmental tests, among which are acoustic, climatic, impact, vibration and flammability tests. Tests are carried out in accordance with current regulations and relevant standards, in particular to comply with the (EU) TSI Regulations and the List of the President of the Railway Transport Office.
NON-ACCREDITED TESTING
Measurement of illumination in rail vehicles – luminosity, illuminance, positioning, supports and control [PN-EN 15153-1, PN-EN 13272, PN-EN 14033, UIC 534, UIC 532, UIC 555, UIC 560, DZ.U. 2005 No. 172 item 1444, Commission Regulation (EU) No.1302/2014 and Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1300/2014, Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2014, Commission Regulation (EU) No. 321/2013]
Measurements of tramway illumination [DZ.U.2011 nr. 65, pos. 344].
Measurements of lighting in workplaces [PN-EN 12464-1].
Driver comfort and comfort during normal passenger service is assessed on the basis of internal climatic parameters such as air temperature, surface temperature, relative humidity and air speed.
Measurements are taken in accordance with EN 13129, EN 14813, EN 14750, UIC 553, UIC 651.
- testing the flammability properties of materials such as: thermoplastics and non-thermoplastics, porous plastics, textiles, floor coverings, electric cables and wires and their sheathing, door and window seals, rollers for carriage gangways,
- flammability testing with the oxygen index method at room temperature,
- test of smoke properties of materials,
- test for carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide released during decomposition or combustion of materials,
- test for flame spread index,
- testing the ignitability of wagon seats.
Tests are performed based on the following standards:
PN-K-02511, PN-K-02508, PN-EN ISO 4589-2, PN-K-02501, PN-K-02512, PN-93/K-02505, PN-92/K-02502.
Measurement of the STIPA speech intelligibility index, measurement of noise in the working environment [Commission Regulation (EU) No 1300/2014, OJ 2018, item 1286].
In accordance with standard PN-EN 61373.
We have an electro-hydraulic shaker capable of testing objects with dimensions of 2000x2000x2000 mm and a mass of up to 600 kg.
According to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1302/2014.
According to EN 50155, EN 60068-2.
Testing for compliance with the requirements of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1300/2014 in full, including passenger information system, pictograms, tactile information, escape route signage.
