Measurement services

We specialise in providing services in the field of metrology. We carry out measurements with the use of: a coordinate measuring machine with a measuring range of 1000x1200x800, 3D scanners, including a laser scanner and a structured light scanner, a photogrammetric system allowing dimensional measurements of objects, a thermal imaging camera with a measured temperature range of -40 to 500 degrees C and conventional measuring equipment.

Photogrammetric measurements

  • mobile coordinate measurements of large-size objects (up to 15 m)
  • static deformation analyses
  1. The coordinate measuring machine (CMM) allows the accurate measurement of complex components thanks to three measuring systems operating on three XYZ axes and a surface locating probe. Thanks to its drives and special software, it can work automatically in CNC mode with high accuracy and objectivity. It is ideal for measuring components with unusual shapes, impossible to measure with traditional tools. The dimensions of the workpieces to be measured are represented as a set of coordinate points, collected by both contact and non-contact means, allowing detailed information on their dimensions to be obtained.

  2. Structured light scanners work on the principle of triangulation, the projection of striations onto an object and observation by two cameras. A single scan generates a point cloud, which can contain millions of points. After measurement, the point cloud undergoes polygonisation, transforming into the actual surface. The scanning is assisted by a photogrammetric system for high accuracy.

  3. 3D laser scanners are lightweight, handheld measuring machines that operate on the principle of real-time triangulation. Thanks to reference points, they do not require external positioning and offer high accuracy, even for reflective surfaces.

  4. Photogrammetry is a tool that works in conjunction with 3D scanners or as a stand-alone measuring machine. It uses special image analysis algorithms and precisely calibrated length standards, guaranteeing high measurement accuracy and deformation analysis.

  5. The laboratory provides services with classic measuring equipment such as measuring microscopes and callipers.

  6. Infrared thermography enables the temperature of objects to be imaged. The Metrology Laboratory deals with passive and dynamic thermography, using microbolometer arrays for measurements in the range from -40 to 500 °C. The software enables comprehensive evaluation of thermodynamic processes.

We also provide 3D scanning services, photogrammetric measurements and thermal imaging surveys on-site.
