INVENTORY OPTIMIZATION
Reduce warehousing costs, minimize shortages, and identify which inventory items are unnecessarily tying up your company’s capital. You’ll receive a data-driven analysis, specific improvement scenarios, and recommendations ready for implementation.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
We identify where inventory ties up capital, where it causes shortages, and which metrics should be adjusted. We combine data analysis, inventory policy, and system support to facilitate purchasing, production, and warehousing decisions.
We show you which SKUs actually generate value, which ones tie up warehouse space, and which ones require a different inventory policy. This way, you don’t have to manage your entire product lineup using a single method.
We analyze historical data, seasonality, and sales trends to better forecast demand. The results can support planning for purchasing, production, and inventory levels.
Projektujemy zasady uzupełniania zapasów: punkty ponownego zamówienia, wielkości dostaw, zapasy minimalne, maksymalne i bezpieczeństwa. Model dopasowujemy do branży, dostawców, czasu dostaw i zmienności popytu.
We analyze inventory carrying costs, tied-up capital, and the costs of warehousing, ordering, and stockouts. We identify where inventory costs are highest and which actions can reduce those costs without compromising availability.
We develop inventory management policies for various product groups: fast-moving, seasonal, irregular, critical, and slow-moving. We also establish KPIs and define responsibilities.
We help organize data and parameters in ERP/WMS systems so that the system can support decisions regarding inventory levels, purchasing, and restocking. We support integration with existing IT infrastructure.
RESULTS OF THE COLLABORATION
Inventory optimization helps reduce storage costs, minimize the risk of stockouts, and free up capital tied up in products that aren’t selling. As a result, inventory begins to support the company’s availability, turnover, and cash flow.
You reduce inventory that isn't contributing to sales but is generating costs related to storage, handling, ordering, and tied-up capital.
You reduce the risk of shortages on key indices thanks to better forecasts, safety stock levels, and replenishment rules.
You improve inventory turnover and free up funds more quickly, which can then be used for day-to-day operations, purchases, or growth.
You minimize backorders, overproduction, and slow-moving inventory before they start tying up space and budget.
PRACTICE
If you want to answer questions like “When is it a good idea to streamline inventory management?”, you’ve come to the right place. Companies often find themselves with excess slow-moving inventory, shortages of key items, outdated data in their systems, and purchasing decisions based on habit. We help you make sense of these interdependencies and translate the data into concrete operating principles.
It’s worth talking about if:
You have high inventory levels, but shortages are still occurring
Some products have been sitting in the warehouse for months
Purchasing and production are based primarily on experience, rather than data
The ERP/WMS displays data, but does not help determine inventory levels
METODOLOGY
We analyze sales, purchasing, and inventory data to identify where surpluses, shortages, and inventory carrying costs arise. We tailor our methods to the specific characteristics of the product line, seasonality, lead times, and customer service levels.
Advanced analysis of sales data, seasonality, and trends using analytical tools.
Classic and customized inventory management models. Operations tailored to the specific needs of the company.
Support for integrating and analyzing data from ERP, WMS, and CRM systems to provide a comprehensive view of the supply chain.
A data-driven approach. Every recommendation is based on data analysis and scenario simulations, allowing you to assess the impact of changes on costs, product availability, and inventory levels before implementation.
PROJECT TIMELINE
We work in stages – from data collection to recommendations and implementation support. This allows you to see the rationale behind the proposed changes and make decisions based on specific scenarios.
STAGE 1
DATA COLLECTION
We collect data on sales, purchases, inventory levels, deliveries, and lead times. We verify the quality of this data.
STAGE 2
DIAGNOSIS
We analyze inventory turnover, surpluses, shortages, seasonality, and critical products. We identify the biggest costs and risks.
STAGE 3
MODELING
We develop demand forecasts, safety stock levels, reorder points, and delivery quantities. We simulate the impact of changes.
STAGE 4
RECOMMENDATIONS
We present our backup policy, action priorities, and implementation plan. We outline the impact on costs and availability.
STAGE 5
IMPLEMENTATION
We support implementation, train the team, and monitor results. We help adjust inventory parameters.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A typical project lasts 2 to 4 months, depending on the complexity of the product line and the availability of data. Dividing the project into phases allows for flexible adjustments to the scope.
It is worth conducting an analysis when a company is experiencing frequent stockouts, excess inventory, a decline in inventory turnover, problems with purchasing or production planning, or is preparing to implement an ERP, WMS, or warehouse automation system.
The data on sales, inventory levels, and purchases covering at least 12–24 months serves as the foundation. Additionally, information on promotions, seasonality, and growth plans is useful.
Yes, we measure the results using specific metrics: inventory value, turnover, service level, and warehousing costs. We compare them to the situation before the project.
This is not necessary. We work with data exported from existing systems. Recommendations may include system improvements, but they are not a prerequisite for the project’s implementation.
First, you need to determine which products are driving sales, which are sitting on the shelves, and which are critical to business continuity. Only then can you set inventory levels, reorder points, and safety stock for individual product groups.
This is a good starting point, but classification alone is usually not enough. The greatest value comes from combining the ABC/XYZ classification with an analysis of demand, lead time, costs, service levels, and supplier constraints.
A safety stock protects a company against demand uncertainty and delivery delays. Its level should be determined based on the following data: sales volatility, lead time, expected service level, and the costs associated with stockouts.
The system helps, but it doesn’t solve the problem on its own. Accurate data, up-to-date parameters, clear restocking rules, and regular monitoring of metrics are key.
Send us a brief description of the situation. We’ll determine whether it’s worth starting with a quick data diagnosis, an ABC/XYZ analysis, a reorder point model, or a broader inventory and procurement strategy.
