Project in the area of inventory management

The design of inventory management solutions aims to define how processes in this area are to be implemented, i.e., processes for forecasting demand for goods/finished products, forecasting demand for raw materials, production planning, inventory replenishment, and monitoring and evaluating current inventory levels. The goal of a project in this area may also be to create a target inventory replenishment model that will allow for the automatic generation of stocking proposals based on developed demand forecasts and generated system parameters, such as safety stock, minimum stock (or others, depending on the specified type of inventory replenishment model).

Logistics audit in the area of inventory management – identification and assessment of the existing situation

  • Process analysis in the area of inventory management – assessment of currently functioning processes
  • Indicator analysis in the area of inventory management – classification of inventory and assessment of inventory levels maintained according to specified indicators
  • Identification of recommended areas for improvement

Developing a concept for reorganizing the inventory replenishment model

  • Optimization of processes in the area of inventory management – development of target process diagrams
  • Development of inventory replenishment algorithms – selection of a replenishment system for specific product groups based on simulations and definition of the method for determining the control parameters of the adopted inventory replenishment system (e.g., ZB, Zmin, Zmax).
  • Determining assessment indicators and rules for monitoring the effectiveness of activities related to replenishing stocks
