Chemical testing of wood and wood-based materials

We are involved in the determination of the content of selected chemical compounds that are covered by the REACH Regulation (Annex XVII, EU Directive 2018/2005 of 17.12.2018), which imposes an obligation on commercial operators to test for their content in products. A particularly important group of compounds to be determined in wood-based panel surfaces and coatings are acrylic acid esters and phthalic acid esters used in the production of resins that form the basis for varnishes and paints. In addition, our scope also includes tests on the structural components of wood and other lignocellulosic materials.

Chemical testing of wood and wood materials - our offer:

Testing of the structural components of wood and other lignocellulosic materials – the content of extractives, cellulose and lignin, among others.

Testing for the determination of harmful components in furniture products, i.e:

  • acrylic monomers
  • photoinitiators
  • phthalates
