POIR.04.01.04-00-0095/19 entitled „Pneumatic sowing machine for single-grain sowing of seeds, especially maize, cotton and sugar beet, with simultaneous, multi-variant application of solid and liquid fertilizers to soil”.
Goal to reach
The goal of the project is to develop a pneumatic seeder for point sowing of seeds, especially corn, cotton and beets, with simultaneous, multi-variant, soil application of solid and liquid fertilizers.
The result of the project will be a machine equipped with:
- spot sowing of seeds, especially maize, as well as cotton and sugar beets,
- fertilizer applicator and liquid fertilizer applicator,
- fertilizer coulters mounted in front of the seed sowing sections with adjustable depth and distance of fertilizer application from the seed rows, with the option of applying fertilizer on both sides of the seed row,
- control system enabling variable dosing of liquid fertilizers, dedicated to plants sown at long distances in a row.
Effects to achieve
The designed and built machine, intended for innovative spot sowing, simultaneously performs the sowing and starter fertilization treatment, what enables increasing the quality and efficiency of agrotechnical operations. Precision seeders offered by manufacturers are mainly equipped with solid fertilizer applicators and single fertilizer coulters.
The innovative system of variable dosing of liquid fertilizer will ensure the correlation of the places of its application with the position of seeds sown in a row, which will additionally increase the precision of fertilization located in the case of large distances between plants in a row.
