Marta Pędzik, Ph.D Eng.

Senior Specialist for Lignocellulosic Materials Technology

She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in bioplastics engineering, followed by a master’s degree in wood technology from the Poznań University of Life Sciences. In 2025, she received her Ph.D. in agricultural sciences, specializing in forestry.

She specializes in lignocellulosic materials technology, particularly particleboard, conducting research on their application in furniture manufacturing and construction carpentry. Her research focuses on the use of alternative lignocellulosic raw materials, including agricultural biomass and post-production residues, as supplementary components in the production of panel materials. She possesses research expertise in the mechanical processing of wood-based materials, including the analysis of fine fractions generated during their processing. She also develops knowledge regarding the impact of technological parameters on cutting processes.

Her work also includes the analysis of material properties and the optimization of technological processes in the wood industry, which contributes to the development of sustainable solutions in line with the principles of the circular economy.

  • Areas of expertise:
  • composite manufacturing technology,
  • alternative lignocellulosic materials,
  • mechanical processing of wood-based materials,
  • optimization of production processes in the wood industry,
  • assessment of dust fractions in the context of process safety.
