Maciej Niemir

He holds a PhD in Management and Quality Sciences and is a graduate of Computer Science at Poznań University of Technology. He has been involved in the IT sector for over 20 years, working as a leader on strategic projects, an initiator and architect of R&D solutions, an analyst, and a Product Owner. He served for many years as Deputy Head of the IT Centre at the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznań. He currently works in the IT Research Group. He is a research PhD student at the Faculty of Management Engineering at Poznań University of Technology, specialising in the application of artificial intelligence in product data quality.
He is a specialist with a wide range of interests in IT, ranging from networking, security, and the design and development of desktop, cloud and mobile applications, sensor-based systems and single-chip computers, to artificial intelligence algorithms and NLP. He conducts research into GS1 standards in e-commerce applications and oversees the development and maintenance of the main GS1 systems in Poland, including the MojeGS1 catalogue since its inception.
