  • specialist chemist at the Fibreboard Department of the Wood Technology Institute (from 1975 to 1989)
  • technologist, senior specialist in the Department of Wood-Based Materials, Wood Technology Institute (from 1989 to 1999)
  • assistant at the Department of Wood-Based Materials of the Wood Technology Institute (from 1989 to 2002)
  • Head of the Department of Wood Research and Applications at the Wood Technology Institute (from 2002 to 2021)
  • Head of Research Group of Wood and Construction Material Investigation (from 2022)
  • representative in: PKN (the Polish Committee for Standardization) KT (Technical Committee) 215 “Design and construction of structures made of wood and wood-based materials” and PKN KT 181 “Forest Management”

The area in which she/he is an expert

I am an expert in the field of wood research and wood products as well as the development and/or modification of technologies based on wood raw material – in particular, research, technology, and application rules relating to:

  • construction timber,
  • engineering wood,
  • wood-based materials,
  • floors, including sports floors,
  • construction carpentry products (windows, doors, stairs, wall cladding, etc.),
  • wooden packaging, including in terms of compliance with international phytosanitary regulations.

My expert knowledge is manifested in: dozens of expert studies, developed new or modified technologies, normative documents, patents and numerous popular science and scientific publications.
