Centre for Laboratory Testing
Centre for Laboratory Testing performs testing services for the Institute and business customers. These include tests accredited according to industry standards, but also non-accredited ones.
It is in this centre that metallographic observations, measurements and tests in the areas of radio technology, air quality, flammability, acoustics, shock, safety or ergonomics are made, meters are calibrated or products are manufactured using powder metallurgy technology.

Areas of activity:
- Perform metallographic observations and studies of the structure of materials
- Performing measurements and tests of physical and mechanical properties
- Performing measurements and tests in the area of radio technology and electromagnetic compatibility of electrical and electronic equipment
- Performing measurements and tests in the area of power electronic devices, installations and networks
- Performing tests of protection, short-circuit and electric shock devices
- Technical consulting in the area of design of new electronic and electrical equipment
- Carrying out measurements and tests in the area of air quality, flammability, toxicity, lighting, acoustics, shock, resistance to climatic conditions, ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems, safety and ergonomics
- Providing technical advice in the area of designing new machinery, equipment and vehicles
- Providing technical advice in the area of designing new machinery, equipment and vehicles
- Providing continuous metrological supervision of the quality of products and services performed at the institute
- Controlling the supply of materials for manufacturing or testing
- Performing measurements of products or tools
- Supervision of control and measurement equipment

- Manufacturing products using powder metallurgy technology
- Carrying out heat and thermo-chemical treatment
