Centre for Digital Transformation focuses on the adaptation and implementation of modern, intelligent digital technologies. It creates, develops, adapts and improves technologies, improves business processes and systems to meet all customer needs. It also deals with standardisation and automation in various industries, and conducts research in the area of the digitisation of the economy. Another key area of the Centre’s activities is IT and software, system analysis, architecture, design and production of advanced IT systems and web platforms. The Centre for Digital Transformation supports the other centres in the use of artificial intelligence. The Centre includes research groups for computer science, electronic devices and business processes.
The main tasks of the Division of Software Development include the design of architecture and the production and testing of innovative IT solutions – desktop, web and mobile, for research and commissioned projects, with a particular focus on the implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms and models.
The main tasks of the Division for Analysis and Design include conducting business and technical requirements analysis for IT systems and UX/UI design, with a focus on creating secure, scalable and efficient solutions tailored to the specific needs of the public sector. The activities of the Division for Analysis and Design include business and system analysis, including requirements gathering, process modelling, data structure design and API definition, as well as user interface and user experience design and the creation of the necessary documentation.
The main tasks of the Division for Artificial Intelligence Development include conducting research in the field of artificial intelligence, including machine learning, natural language processing and computer vision, designing and developing algorithms and models using AI, analysing and processing large data sets, and creating solution demonstrators.
Research Group for Electronic Devices
The Research Group for Electronic Devices focuses on using modern semiconductor solutions to design advanced electronics. It specialises not only in innovative hardware, but also in the programming of microprocessors, the creation of firmware (FW) in harmonious integration with software (already on the market and/or that being developed at the centre). As a result, it is able to create solutions that operate efficiently, intelligently and autonomously, wherever they are.
The Research Group for Process Transformation tasks include the analysis, improvement and implementation of modern business processes. In the digital age, efficient and automated processes are key to achieving competitive advantage and meeting the needs of a rapidly changing market. The Research Group for Process Transformation carries out work in:
This department acquires projects and ensures that they are carried out effectively and coordinates the creation of products that meet market needs. The tasks of the Project and Product Management Department include market analysis (researching trends and needs), evaluation of competitive solutions (analysis of competitor products), requirements development (defining product requirements), strategy and pricing (developing market strategy), sourcing project funding, preparing project and product documentation, managing the project portfolio by defining and monitoring the scope of work, scheduling and monitoring progress, cost control and resource allocation.
