CAPSA. A new product from Łukasiewicz – PIT
It is a smart, mobile and fully self-service warehouse. It was developed to streamline logistics processes at ENEA, and today it can support any company operating across a large area. Meet CAPSA, the new product from Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology.
It is based on a shipping container. It can be installed at a chosen location and relocated as the site of operations changes. It is operational immediately upon connection to the mains and the internet – either via a cable or, optionally, using a photovoltaic system and wireless connectivity.
It provides round-the-clock access to resources. User identification and operation logging are carried out using a code, card or mobile device.
The solution enables the rapid location of assets through the use of barcodes, image recognition and RFID technology. It can also be integrated with ERP and WMS systems, allowing for data synchronisation and the incorporation of the solution into the company’s existing IT infrastructure.
CAPSA is the ideal solution for companies operating across a large area, streamlining logistics processes at the regional and national levels. It is also well-suited to businesses looking to reduce costs – it can save up to several dozen per cent in time and logistics expenditure.
