Invention entitled ‘Suspension system of front working tools in a drainage device’ (Pat.223046/P.396142)

Description:

The object of the invention is a system for suspending front working tools in a drainage device, designed for carrying out drainage work, especially in the maintenance and regeneration of watercourses. The system according to the invention is adapted to working tools of the flail mower type. An advantageous design solution applied to the front working tool suspension system is that the guide has a two-part body, used to realize the angular pivoting of the assembly using a hydraulic actuator, where the said two-part body is attached pivotally to the main frame pin, wherein the guide is connected to an extension bar for extending the work tool using a hydraulic cylinder, and the extension bar is further connected to a two-row lever for changing the angular position of the work tool using a hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic actuator of the boom extension and the hydraulic actuator of the tilt lever of the work tool, have the ability to be set to a floating state to enable ground copying. The position of the lever is controlled by position sensors located on the work tool.

Benefits:

  • Facilitation of processes for carrying out maintenance operations in ditches
  • Enabling the execution of drainage procedures on uneven ditch slopes with the function of copying the ground
  • Enabling the execution of drainage procedures in ditches with different slope angles

Status of legal protection:

The technology consists of patent Pat.223046 granted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, in force from 31 August 2011.

The property rights to the invention are vested in 100% in the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology.
