Invention entitled ‘Pick-up belt rake for harvesting straw crops, especially legumes’ (P.429823)

Description:

The object of the invention is a pick-up belt rake for harvesting straw crops, especially legumes, with applications in precision agriculture, particularly when collecting a swath of previously mowed grassland and stacking the harvested swath into a pile. The proprietary and innovative design of the cam pick-up guarantees pick-up of any type of material regardless of its length.

Unlike the well-known solutions on the market, in this rake it is possible to steplessly adjust the clearance between the ground and the working units of the machine. In addition, it is possible to control individual working sections, especially in the case of three-section versions.

Benefits:

  • improved productivity while maintaining the quality features of the harvested material, including, among others, high purity of the harvest and better drying,
  • it is possible for the rake to work in different configurations, using different working sections, which helps the operator to perform work in unfavorable spatial arrangements of the grassland and increases the flexibility of planning how to carry out future agrotechnical operations,
  • it is possible to adjust the clearance between the ground and the working units, which improves maneuvering of the rake on headlands,
  • increased productivity of the machine.

Status of legal protection:

The technology consists of a patent application to the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland registered under No. P.429823 dated April 30, 2019.

Property rights to the invention are held by: Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology and SaMASZ Ltd.
