Description:
The object of the invention are methods of protecting plywood against fungi using ionic liquids of general formula 1, or ionic liquids with the addition of tebuconazole or a mixture of tebuconazole and propiconazole. The method according to the invention consists in saturating the veneer with a solution of the ionic liquid in an adhesive resin.
Status of legal protection:
The technology consists of patent Pat.226368 granted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, in force from 23 July 2012.
The property rights to the invention are vested in 100% in the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology.
