Solid biofuels testing

We are active in the field of research related to the energetic use of biomass and the application of renewable energy sources. We assess the quality of solid biofuels obtained from plant biomass and look for opportunities to improve the performance of biomass and the biofuels produced from it. We also undertake research into combustion processes for various types of solid biomass fuels and into the extraction of various types of wood waste (including wood residues) and agro-waste for the production of fuels and other applications (e.g. as soil additives).

Solid biofuels testing - our offer:

  • Investigation of the properties of biofuels derived from plant biomass (woody, agro)
  • Investigation of the properties of wood waste with a view to preparing it for recycling
  • Research on solid secondary fuels containing biomass
  • Investigation of charcoal and charcoal briquettes
Investigation of biomass combustion processes, solid biofuels and alternative fuels made from biomass
    Investigations of biomass carbonisation processes

We also offer opinions and expertise on, e.g.:

  • Recyclable combustion of waste wood
  • Biomass characteristics of various types of plant materials
  • Hazardous waste characteristics of waste wood
  • Possibility of waste being considered as a by-product
Offer of accredited testing of solid biofuels
