Chemical testing of wood and wood-based materials

We deal with the determination of trace elements and selected chemical compounds in wood and wood-based materials, including wood-based panels, furniture, wood packaging, post-consumer wood or wood waste. As part of our scope, we also test the sand content of wood-based panels and the ash content of polyurethane and latex foams as upholstered furniture fillings.

Chemical testing of wood and wood-based materials – our offer:

  • Determination of trace elements: cadmium, chromium, nickel, copper, lead, arsenic, zinc, mercury:  according to PN-EN ISO 16968:2015-07
  • Determination of chromium (VI) content: according to US EPA method 3060A and US EPA method 7196A
  • Determination of pentachlorophenol (PCP) and hexachlorocyclohexane (lindane) content: according to CEN/TR 14823:2003 ( by gas chromatography)
  • Determination of sand content in wood-based panels: according to ISO 3340:1976
  • Determination of ash content in polyurethane and latex foams: according to PN-ISO 1171:2002 and PN-EN ISO 1172:2002 method A
