Indoor air quality testing

Indoor air quality testing involves determining emissions of formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds from wood-based materials, building materials and products used in interior furnishings.

We determine emissions of:

  • formaldehyde by the chamber method,
  • volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by chamber method,
  • harmful organic compounds from furniture in large-scale chambers.

We evaluate and classify the tested products in terms of the emission requirements that are in force in Europe.
