Waste-free technology for the shaping of drinking water fittings from lead-free copper alloys

Projekt współfinansowany ze środków Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwój.
Type: R&D
Grant: PLN 1 308 597,35 (for INOP)
The aim of the project is to develop a new technology for the waste-free forging of small and medium-sized forgings for water fittings and to adapt this technology to an automated forging station. The project involves the development of a concept, basis and technical assumptions for the waste-free forging of drinking water fittings components from lead-free copper alloys. The project is a response to market needs for the gradual withdrawal of leaded brasses by manufacturers of products intended for contact with drinking water.
