RiskAppPB – Development of an application for hazard analysis and risk assessment for the operation of agricultural, horticultural, forestry, food and other machinery and equipment, in terms of the requirements of the Machinery Ordinance and related documents

Guidelines for the safety and ergonomic use of machinery and equipment used in the agri-food sector are crucial at every stage of the product life cycle. Hazard verification and risk analysis aim to eliminate as many risks as possible to the health and life of the user already at the product design and prototyping stage and to eliminate residual risks.

The collection and analysis of guidelines, as well as the identification of currently used risk analysis methods, will be used to specify the requirements and functionality of the designed prototype application.

The developed prototype, subjected to functional and user tests, will form the basis for the preparation of training materials and user manuals for future users, which will be made public as work on the final product progresses.

The anticipated effect of using the developed application will be a more efficient and reliable assessment of the conformity of a machine product with the essential requirements.
