Messor – Electric, Innovative, Energy-saving Utility Vehicle

The project concerns the development and production of L7e prototype utility electric vehicles with increased payload and range. The implementation of the project is the performance of development works within the framework of which the frame and skeleton of the vehicle will be developed, the vehicle suspension and the steering system will be designed.

Implementation period:  01.11.2020 – 31.01.2023

Project value: PLN  9 584 488.05

Co-financing amount: PLN 7,362,643.08
(including Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology: PLN 3,418,142.80)

The project is implemented by a consortium of:

  • Messor Sp. z o.o. – Leader,
  • Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology

The project concerns the development and production of L7e prototype utility electric vehicles with increased payload and range. The implementation of the project is the performance of development works within the framework of which the frame and skeleton of the vehicle will be developed, the vehicle suspension and the steering system will be designed. Individual modules and systems will be tested in simulation and in real conditions. In the next stages, vehicle prototypes will be built to verify them and achieve the assumptions for the L7e vehicles. A lightweight structure will be developed using aluminum profiles or high-strength steel.

As a result of the project, the production technology and technical documentation of an electric utility vehicle meeting the requirements of the L7e vehicle category will be created. The aim of the project is strictly in line with the provisions of the Act on electromobility (Journal of Laws 2018, item 317) and meets the current market expectations. The innovative features of the vehicle include, first of all, the in-house structure of the vehicle’s frame, and thus achieving a range of at least 100 km, for the reference speed of 40 km/h, using a load capacity of 1.5 t, and an attractive utility form (design) that distinguishes the vehicle among other vehicles of the same type.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program.
