Projekt w ramach umowy grantowej nr 609234 (7 PR UE) pt.: Ekologicznie innowacyjne, bezpieczne i energooszczędne panele ścienne i materiały do projektowania wnętrz przyjaznych dla zdrowia” (ECO-SEE)

In September 2013 the Wood Technology Institute embarked on the four-year international project entitled: „ECO-innovative, Safe and Energy Efficient wall panels and materials for a healthier indoor environment”(ECO-SEE).

The project received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme EU 7.FP (Cooperation Collaborative Project Large-scale integrating project).

Project aim

The project aims to develop new products for ecological building construction that will contribute to the improvement in the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) in both new and modernized buildings. The Institute will develop wood-based panels with formaldehyde content close to natural wood, with VOC emission reduced in relation to currently produced panels. Furthermore, the panels will be characterized by increased moisture resistance.
