Wiktoria Krzyżaniak
Senior Specialist for Powder Metallurgy
A graduate of the Materials Engineering program at Poznań University of Technology, she is a doctoral student in the 7th edition of the Applied Doctorate Program in the same discipline.
She began working at the Institute in 2022. In her professional work, she focuses on the development and research of functional materials, including those intended for energy storage applications. Her work involves designing their chemical composition, optimizing synthesis and consolidation processes, and evaluating the impact of manufacturing parameters on the structure and properties of the resulting materials.
Her research interests include ceramic and composite materials for use as electrodes and solid electrolytes, including multicomponent transition metal oxides and ceramics with an open skeletal structure, as well as ceramic-polymer composite materials.
She is also responsible for the development of electric field-assisted mechanical synthesis and sintering (FAST/SPS) technologies. In the case of sintering, she focuses in particular on unconventional approaches to this technology, including its use for bonding dissimilar materials.
