Wiesław Grześkowiak

A graduate of the Faculty of Working Machines and Vehicles at Poznań University of Technology. Throughout his professional career spanning more than thirty years, he has been involved in the design of rail vehicles. He has been an employee of the Institute since 1989.

In the Rail Vehicle Development Section, he is responsible for designing the structures of rail vehicle bodies, fitting out passenger compartments and driver’s cabs, and drawing up technical specifications and technical and operational documentation for vehicles. He has participated in numerous R&D and commercial projects that have introduced many modern design solutions, including those aimed at overcoming barriers to travel for people with reduced mobility. Many of these solutions have been applied in passenger carriages and multiple units manufactured by the Polish industry.
