Professor since 1992. Since 2019, he has been working at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology.
Author and co-author of 250 articles on finite element modeling, metal forming, porous metals, ceramics, and batteries, as well as 24 patents, primarily in the field of powder metallurgy and porous metals. He has worked at the Institute of Hydrodynamics (Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union), the Donbas State Academy of Engineering (Ukraine), the Jülich Research Center (Germany), RWTH Aachen University (Germany), and FCT Systeme (Germany). Visiting researcher at the Jülich Research Center (Germany), Drexel University (USA), the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (France), and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). Reviewer for Elsevier, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, ANR (France), and the European Commission.
Expert in FEM modeling (ANSYS, ABAQUS), powder metallurgy (particularly porous metals), ceramics (mainly oxides), FAST/SPS, metal formimg, and copper alloys. His research interests include materials modeling (processes and properties), the application of artificial intelligence in technology, sintering methods and modeling (particularly FAST/SPS), and energy storage materials and devices.
