Area Leader - Head of the Research Group for Construction, Head of the Division for Rail Vehicles Development
A graduate of the Faculty of Working Machines and Vehicles at Poznań University of Technology. In 2021, he was awarded a PhD in Engineering and Technology from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport at Poznań University of Technology. He has been working at the Institute since 1999, currently as Head of the Rail Vehicle Development Section. He is a member of the Association of Polish Engineers and Mechanics, the Polish Scientific Society of Internal Combustion Engines (PTNSS), and a representative of Łukasiewicz – PIT on Technical Committee No. 138 for Railways of the Polish Committee for Standardisation. Author of numerous publications in trade and scientific journals.
An expert in the field of the construction and operation of rail vehicles, particularly locomotives. Coordinator of design work relating to rail vehicles. His areas of activity include managing research and development projects concerning the modernisation and construction of new rail vehicles and their systems. An expert in the integration of traction units in rail vehicles. He is also involved in the preparation and review of technical and maintenance documentation, as well as the verification and approval of technical reports.
