Marcin Lijewski, Ph.D Eng.

A graduate of Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Technical Physics, specializing in Scientific Instrumentation. In 2010, he defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of physical sciences at the Faculty of Chemical Technology at Poznań University of Technology. In 2007, he completed a postgraduate program in Theory and Practice of Quality Management at Poznań University of Technology. He has been working at the Institute since 2010. He has participated in approximately 20 R&D projects under the FENG, POIR, POIG, PBS, Demonstrator+, and Duży BON programs. He is the co-author of over thirty scientific publications and three patent applications. Co-author of the monograph “Spinal Intervertebral Disc Endoprosthesis – Design, Manufacturing Technology, and Preparation for Clinical Applications.”
He is an expert in the field of plastic forming, particularly in sheet metal forming technologies, including spinning and rotary drawing. He has actively participated in the implementation of research results in industry. He participates in the implementation of dedicated machines and equipment at industrial partners. The projects in which he has participated and the technologies he has developed are used, among others, in the construction, lighting, automotive, transportation, defense, and shipbuilding industries.
