Jacek Zając
Chief Specialist for Logistics
A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Poznań University of Technology. He is a member of the Polish Logistics Association, chair of Technical Committee No. 162 on Logistics, Barcodes and Warehouse Management at the Polish Committee for Standardisation, and a lecturer at the Poznań School of Logistics. He has been working at the Institute since 1985.
He has many years of experience in logistics consulting. Co-author of consulting methodologies for the design of warehouse and transport systems and the auditing of warehouse technology processes. Manager and implementer of numerous projects concerning the optimisation of warehousing processes, the construction and expansion of warehouses and distribution centres, and the optimisation of distribution networks, including for PKN ORLEN, L’Oréal Polska Sp. z o.o. and Polpharma S.A.
