Adam Maćkowiak, Ph.D Eng.
Area Leader – Deputy Head for Radio Technology and EMC
A graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Poznań University of Technology, holding a PhD in Engineering in the field of Electrical Engineering. He has been actively involved in the field of electromagnetic compatibility since 2003. He is currently the area leader and Deputy Head for Radio Technology and EMC at the Laboratory for Rail Vehicles Testing and EMC at Łukasiewicz-PIT. At the Laboratory, he is responsible for electromagnetic compatibility testing of a wide range of electronic devices (including the medical, railway, IT and electromobility sectors) and for research into the efficient use of the spectrum by radio communication modules (e.g. WiFi, BT, LoRa, ZigBee). He participates in research and development projects, is a co-author of patents and scientific articles, and is a member of the IEEE.
