Invention entitled ‘Wagon, especially for combined rail-road transport’ (Pat.237854/P.424900)

Description:

A wagon equipped with a support saddle for the front part of the semi-trailer, pull-and-bump devices and a basket for situating the semi-trailer, characterized by having two biaxial bogies on which are mounted carriage frames connected to each other by a longitudinal beam, the carriage frames having at least one flange on each side and equipped with locking devices.

Benefits:

A wagon design adapted to the combined rail-road transport system of road semi-trailers with a much simpler and less costly construction than the current combined transport systems in use.

Status of legal protection:

The technology consists of patent Pat.237854 granted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, in force from 15 March 2018.

Property rights to the invention are vested 100% in the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology.
