Invention entitled ‘Rake attached to an agricultural tractor’ (Pat.231983/P.419096)

Description:

The object of the invention is a pick-up-conveyor rake attacched to an agricultural tractor, finding application in crop production, for raking volumetric agricultural products from the field surface into longitudinal swaths. With the use of the presented technology, it is possible to harvest plant material intact, and then transport it in its entirety, transversely to the driving direction and deposit it on the formed swaths. Such a solution makes it possible to obtain high-quality full-fledged material for direct feeding or further processing.

In the solution that is the object of the invention, a positioning system for the pick-up-conveyor sections is used that ensures, among other things, that the swath is stacked in the tractor’s trace and that  its width is adjustable, where in each working position the entire working width of the section takes part in raking the material.

Benefits:

  • the possibility of stacking the swath in the tractor’s trace,
  • the possibility of stepless adjustment of the width of the stacked swath in the trace of the tractor,
  • the machine is equipped with a positioning system for pick-up-conveyor sections,
  • in contrast to rotary rakes, the presented machine makes it possible to collect full-fledged plant material.

Status of legal protection:

The technology consists of patent Pat.231983 granted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, in force from October 13, 2016.

Property rights to the invention are held by: Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology and SaMASZ Ltd.
