Invention entitled ‘Rail running gear of a road-rail vehicle’ (Pat.241841/P.432409)
Description:
The object of the invention is a rail running gear of a rail-road vehicle.
The purpose of the invention is to solve the construction of a rail running gear of a rail-road vehicle allowing to improve its running characteristics. The essence of the construction of the rail-road vehicle running gear, which, according to the invention, comprises pivotally mounted control arms, connected by their ends to a rail axle, equipped with road rollers connected to drive drums and hydraulic actuators fixing the upper position of the road rollers for road driving of the vehicle or their lower position for rail driving of the vehicle, is characterised by the fact that to the upper surface of the drive bridge, under the leaf springs, brackets equipped with upper lugs and lower lugs are attached, the upper lugs having the pivot pins of the hydraulic actuators fixed so that the hydraulic actuators are oriented in a vertical plane parallel to the leaf spring mounting plane, located on the external side of the chassis support frame, while the lower lugs have the ends of the control arms fixed, and furthermore adjustable stops are attached to the lower surface of the drive bridge. According to another advantageous feature of the invention, the connecting elements between the brackets, the drive bridge and the adjustable stops are the stirrups of the springs.
Benefits:
- A beneficial effect of the invention is the solution of the rail running gear design of the rail-road vehicle allowing to improve its running characteristics.
- Another advantage of the invention is the compact design of the rail running gear, which fits approximately below the lower flange of the chassis frame in terms of dimensions.
