Invention entitled ‘Rail axle assembly of rail-road vehicle’ (Pat.240895/P.429966)
Description:
The object of the invention is a rail axle assembly of a rail-road vehicle.
The purpose of the invention is to solve the construction of a rail-road vehicle rail axle assembly that allows the operation of a rail-road tractor, particularly involving the movement of rail vehicles both in open terrain and indoors. The essence of the design of the rail-road vehicle rail axle assembly, which according to the invention contains running rollers mounted on pivots extending from the rail axle, is characterized by the fact that it contains a motor with a drive shaft extending from both ends of the motor, with each end of the drive shaft seated on the keyway of part one of the flexible coupling, and part two of the flexible coupling is seated on the keyway of the first end of the shaft, while from the other end of the shaft is attached the element of the first electromagnetic coupling, and the second element of the electromagnetic coupling is attached to a flange located at the first end of the shaft, at the other end of which is a gear wheel interlocked with a gear ring located on the inner part of the running roller. According to another advantageous feature of the invention, each shaft is arranged in a cantilever sleeve which is attached to a rail axle.
Benefits:
- The beneficial effect of the invention is that the solution of the design of the rail-road vehicle’s rail axle assembly allows the operation of the rail-road tractor, which involves, in particular, the movement of rail vehicles both in open terrain and indoors.
- A surprising advantage of the invention is that it can be implemented in regenerative braking systems.
Status of legal protection:
