Invention entitled ‘Mounting and repositioning system of agricultural trailed tillage roller segments’ (Pat.231982/P.418741)
Description:
The essential element of the technology is a system for attaching and repositioning segments of an agricultural trailed tillage roller. The design of the roller makes it possible to achieve a compact structure that improves the safety of transport on lightweight agricultural trailers, as well as safer transport when towing the roller directly behind an agricultural tractor. The placement of the middle segment under the drawbar of the tillage roller improves and lowers the center of gravity of the transported roller, similarly, the system of folding the side segments on the arms of the tillage roller provides a compact structure, which improves lateral stability and is important for transporting the tillage roller, especially when passing curves and turns on the road.
The essence of the system of location and attachment of segments of the agricultural trailed tillage roller is that in the transport position on the road wheels, the middle segment is pivotally attached and is located directly under the drawbar. On the sides of the drawbar in a plane parallel to it is a folded side arm with a pendulum-mounted side segment, the clamp of which is additionally held by spring elements. On the opposite side of the side arm at the drawbar, there is a pivoting segment whose clamp is fixed pendulously to the additional arm and is jammed on it with a buckle clip. Each of the side arms is secured against accidental slipping from the hitch by a locking element, while the pivoting segment is immobilized and locked against accidental slipping of the side pivots from their anchor sockets by a restraining element attached to the lower drawbar and the beam and brace of the side bracket.
Benefits:
- improved safety during transportation,
- lowering the center of gravity allows increased stability,
- more favorable distribution of the weight of the roller on the chassis components.
Status of legal protection:
The technology consists of patent Pat.231982 granted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, in force from September 19, 2016.
