Invention entitled ‘Electric shunting vehicle’ (Pat.244651/P.438004)
Description:
An electric shunting vehicle, comprises a chassis support frame (1), a body (2) and a drive train. The propulsion system is made up of two rail gears (3), each of which is attached to one end of the chassis support frame (1). At both ends of the vehicle is located a system of support beams (4) permanently connected to the support structure of the chassis frame (1) and to the lower part of the front walls of the body (2). A battery pack (9) is mounted on the roof of the body (2), while two battery packs (10) are mounted under the floor of the chassis support structure (1). The rail chassis (3) has a skeleton in the form of a lower longitudinal beam and an upper longitudinal beam connected at the ends by vertical discs. Attached to the lower longitudinal beam are an asynchronous electric motor located in its central part and speed reducers situated on the side of the vertical disks, the input shafts of which are terminated by the first elements of the claw couplings. The output shafts of the speed reducers are located in the holes of the stubs, with which they are coupled by keyed connections. The output shafts of the asynchronous electric motor are terminated by the second elements of the claw couplings.
