Invention entitled ‘Device for carrying out renovation work in drainage ditches’ (Pat.225663/P.398303)

Description:

The device is designed to carry out renovation work in drainage ditches – performing works related to the care and maintenance of ditches and canals. The solutions used result in the machine that:

• is multi-purpose – can be equipped with mowers, de-mulcher, belt rake and tools for grubbing branches and bushes,
• guarantees a high level of stability during operation. The support wheels of the side support rest on the ground perpendicular to its surface, which provides the best conditions for wheel-soil interaction. The running gear and support wheels make it possible to realize driving in a drainage ditch, since the main weight of the device rests on the bottom of the ditch, and the side supports with support wheels provide balance and allow to avoid obstacles without stopping the device and interrupting the drainage ditch renovation procedure. The front tool suspension assembly is close to the bottom of the ditch, so that the working tools are guided rigidly and are not susceptible to jerking caused by uneven loads. The control arm assembly ensures smooth leveling of uneven ground, as well as increasing the reach of the support wheels,
• ensures good ergonomics in operation. The locations of the cab, hydraulic manipulator and tool suspension assembly guarantee good visibility for the operator during operation.

Status of legal protection:

The technology consists of patent Pat.225663 granted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, in force from March 2, 2012.
