Invention entitled „Baler-wrapper combination machine” (Pat.242168/P.435151)
Description:
The invention relates to a baler-wrapper combination machine used in agriculture, particularly for the harvesting of straw, hay, and haylage, as well as for wrapping cylindrically shaped bales with plastic film. The innovation of this technology lies in the integration of the baling and wrapping processes into a single machine, which improves work efficiency and reduces the time needed for processing agricultural materials. The design of the wrapper is based on a front and rear roller assembly, a wrapping ring with film feeders, and a support and carrying frame, allowing for precise and stable bale formation and wrapping. The machine is equipped with advanced features, such as bale presence sensors and integrated braking systems, ensuring a higher level of safety and control over the wrapping process. The use of this baler-wrapper combination machine brings several technical and operational benefits, including better distribution of the machine’s center of gravity, reduced bending moments during braking, symmetrical pressure distribution, and minimized risk of bales getting stuck while transferring from the baling chamber to the wrapping module.
Benefits:
- improved silage quality – the baler-wrapper allows for better forage preservation through more accurate and uniform bale wrapping, reducing the risk of undesirable microorganisms and enhancing silage quality,
- time and labor savings – automating the baling and wrapping process into a single operation significantly shortens the time required for forage preparation and reduces physical labor,
- reduced material losses – precise wrapping with plastic film provides better protection from weather conditions and minimizes forage losses during storage,
- versatility of use – the baler-wrapper is suitable for various types of biomass, such as straw, hay, and haylage, making it a versatile tool for farm operations.
