Description:
Accelerator in valves for air brake control in rail vehicles, has a piston (3) mounted on a hollow shaft supporting a valve (2) of the accelerator and drives it through a spring-loaded pusher (12) in contact with a deforming switch (1) of the accelerator, located in a chamber (14) connected to a chamber (10) having a connection with a brake cylinder or with a pilot chamber (CH). The hollow shaft is divided into two or more segments, each of which operates independently, whereby the lower segment of the hollow shaft (4) associated with the piston (3), overcoming the force of the spring (7) located in the chamber connected to the main line (PG), first opens the valve (2) of the accelerator and then pushes the upper segment of the hollow shaft (6), which opens the valve (9) located between the chamber (10) and the connection to the auxiliary reservoir (ZP). The spring (7) acting on the piston (3) has a lower preload force than the spring (8) acting on the piston (5) seated on the upper segment of the hollow shaft (6) located in the chamber (14) having a connection to the atmosphere (AT). The chamber (10) is connected to the chamber (14) of the switch (1) of the accelerator through a throttling element (17). Through the open valve (2), compressed air from the main line (PG) flows under the piston (5), which, through the upper segment of the hollow shaft (6), opens the valve (9) filling the cylinder or pilot chamber (CH).
