Technologies of the future – Applying science to digital transformation

Frame 6

Project co-financed by funds from the state budget awarded by the Minister of Science within the framework of the Social Responsibility of Science II Programme. Date of signing the contract - 18.12.2024.

Acronym: Cyfrowe bliźniaki BIS

Type: science outreach project

Grant: PLN 465 300.00

Total value: PLN 517 000.00

Start date: 01.11.2024

Project completion date: 31.10.2026

The main objective of the project is to popularise knowledge on the practical use of modern solutions such as process modelling and simulation and HRI (human robot interaction) research by organising events (a total of 20 cycles of workshops entitled ‘Process modelling and simulation as a key to digital transformation’ and ‘Human robot interaction – how to implement modern technologies to make people work efficiently’, as well as a minimum of 6 open lectures entitled ‘Technologies of the future – Applying science to digital transformation’), demonstrating their usefulness in digital transformation.

The new knowledge gained will be universal, i.e. it will be useful regardless of the industry in which it is applied. It will be possible to use it in both theoretical (research and development or educational) and practical (business) applications.

The product created as part of the project will be a platform. ‘Procesownik’, which will allow participants to model business processes and verify the correctness of the developed models, thanks to which workshop participants will acquire the ability to quickly check the logical consistency of the developed models.

The added value of the project is that by opening the workshop to foreign participants, Polish expertise will be promoted internationally. The project will provide an opportunity for the exchange of experience and good practice between participants from different countries with different levels of economic development, as well as the transfer of Polish research ideas to foreign entities: scientific and business.
