“FAST/SPS: From Research to Industry” Conference in October. Registration is open now

Soon, Kraków will become a hub for the exchange of knowledge and experience among individuals involved in the development of FAST/SPS technology. The third edition of the conference “FAST/SPS: From Research to Industry” will take place on October 20-22, 2025. Registration is now available via the website: https://fast-sps.pit.lukasiewicz.gov.pl/

The aim of the event is to bring together the international scientific community and industry representatives around the topic of Field Assisted Sintering Technique / Spark Plasma Sintering – a modern and promising technology for consolidating powder materials.

– The conference will showcase the latest advancements in materials research and sintering technology development. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, establish collaborations, and discuss future directions for FAST/SPS –  says Dariusz Garbiec, Deputy Director for Research at Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology and Chair of the Conference Organizing Committee.

The organizers invite all those interested in the conference topic to participate, particularly academic and research institutions as well as companies utilizing FAST/SPS technology.

The event is organized by Łukasiewicz – Kraków Institute of Technology, with co-organizers including Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology and Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics.

The conference originated from the National Spark Plasma Sintering Seminars, first held in 2018 in Poznań. Subsequent editions took place in Warsaw in 2019 and online in 2020. These events gained increasing interest both in Poland and internationally, leading to their transformation into the international conference FAST/SPS: From Research to Industry. The first edition was held in Poznań in 2021, followed by the second edition in Warsaw in 2023.
