Małgorzata Walkowiak

A graduate of the Faculty of Wood Technology at the Poznań University of Life Sciences. She has been associated with the Institute of Wood Technology since 2010, which is now part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on the use of renewable energy sources in the timber industry, the assessment of the quality of biofuels produced from plant biomass, and the utilisation of wood waste through thermal modification processes. He works at the Laboratory for Environmental Testing, which conducts certification of solid biofuels; notably, it is the only laboratory in Poland listed among accredited laboratories testing wood pellets according to the DINplus and ENplus certification schemes.
