Deputy Director of the Centre for Laboratory Testing, Head of the Laboratory for Environmental Testing at Łukasiewicz – PIT. Graduate of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering at Szczecin University of Technology, PhD in Technical Sciences specialising in organic chemical technology. Researcher and academic lecturer in the field of light organic synthesis and the biological activity of chemical compounds. An expert in chemical analysis for the determination of elements and chemical compounds present in biomass and plant-based products. Research experience in the development and design of biomass-based materials for use as renewable energy sources.

Co-creator and project manager of research projects addressing technical, technological and environmental issues in wood-based industries, including the furniture and panel industries, within the context of the bioeconomy, waste management, innovation and sustainable development.

Expert knowledge demonstrated through expert reports, patents, research and development work, and numerous scientific and popular science publications. Technical expert within the Wood Energy team at the international UNECE-FAO organisation. Member of the Polish Committee for Standardisation – Technical Committee No. 319 on Bio-based Products and POLLABU in the Environmental Protection section.
