Dawid Witkowski, Ph.D Eng.

A graduate of Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Management (Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering). In 2023, he obtained a PhD in engineering and technical sciences. Since 2015, he has been working in the railway industry as a researcher, specialising in numerical calculations for rail vehicle structures. At Łukasiewicz – PIT, he works in the Research Group for Modeling and Simulation.

He carries out a variety of market-oriented work and research and development projects in the areas of strength, stability, modal analysis, thermomechanics and structural crash testing. He conducts comprehensive numerical analyses, delivering optimised structural solutions. His professional experience primarily involves the practical application of calculation results and their validation through bench testing.
