Area of Logistics and Emerging Technologies

Łukasiewicz – PIT carries out R&D works in the field of electronics, automation and robotics, automatic identification, location and monitoring techniques, as well as in the field of information technologies, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence.

We conduct R&D works and measurements in the field of radio technologies and electromagnetic compatibility of electrical and electronic devices. Works in the field of logistics mainly concern issues in the area of ​​goods circulation in macrologic systems, logistic chains and enterprises.

As part of our activity, we provide services, including:

• developing, adapting and improving methodologies and tools for designing, implementing, improving and rebuilding logistics processes
• developing modern functional, technological and organizational solutions
• designing utility applications
• conducting design consultations of electronic and electrical devices
• preparation of substantive materials for the purposes of disseminating the results of scientific research and development works, in particular for the purposes of training, publications, conferences, seminars, and marketing
• developing new technical solutions, research methodologies and measuring stations
• design and implementation of prototype IT applications, with particular emphasis on the use of artificial intelligence
• performing tests of compliance with the requirements of standards, technical specifications, EU directives and national regulations
• CAD/CAM design and production of prototype mechanical solutions
• performing research and testing of identification, location, monitoring and mobile systems
• design, prototyping and small-scale production of electronic systems, apparatus, devices, materials and other products.

R&D works and consulting services carried out in the area of ​​logistics and emerging technologies increase the effectiveness of the functioning of enterprises, economic systems and entire supply chains. The area actively uses expert knowledge and interdisciplinary competences together with customers designing new solutions and products that meet the needs of the market.
