Tomasz Szulc graduated with a specialization in Agricultural Machines and Equipment at the Faculty of Working Machines and Vehicles at the Poznań University of Technology. He started his professional career at the Institute while still a student. He was for many years the deputy head of the Scientific Department and a member and secretary of the Institute’s Council. He is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Production and Power Engineering at the Agricultural University of Hugo Kołłątaj in Kraków.
He is a specialist in the field of construction and research of agricultural machinery, in particular – machines for sowing, fertilizing and plant protection. From the beginning of his professional career, he cooperated with the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection Service in the field of creating compulsory technical testing systems for plant protection equipment, which is currently supervised by his Research Group at the request of the Chief Inspector. He was the leader or main contractor of several implementation and research projects co-financed by KBN, CI NOT and NCBiR.
I am the manager of the Research Group of Machine Construction and a representative of Łukasiewicz – PIT in GBŁ (Łukasiewicz Research Group) – Sustainable Economy and Energy, which gives me wide opportunities for new contacts and knowledge about Łukasiewicz’s activities and industry.
